ManiFest Your Creativity

Portland, Oregon recently hosted its very first ManiFest, a colorful celebration of nail art as fine art. This festival features wildly creative designs, from miniature landscapes to 3D sculptures—painted right on your fingernails! The goal? To celebrate beauty, expression, and creativity in small, everyday places. ManiFest proves that art doesn’t have to hang on a wall—it can travel with you, sparkle in the sunlight, and show off your personality with every handshake.

Artists from all over the country gathered to show how nail art can be bold, thoughtful, and just as meaningful as any large mural or sculpture. ManiFest is about creativity for everyone, no matter your age, budget, or background.

Your Task:
You’ve been chosen to design a nail art collection inspired by a theme of your choice. Follow the steps below:

Pick a Theme: Choose a topic that inspires you—nature, pop culture, space, music, emotions, etc.

Create 3 Designs: On paper or in writing, describe (or sketch!) three different nail designs that reflect your theme. Be creative—these nails could glow in the dark, have texture, or even tell a story!

Name Your Collection: Give your mini art collection a fun and memorable name.
